What Went Well

KS1

Workbooks are challenging

Maths lessons include a range of activities

Enjoy their work on multiplication and division

KS2

Enjoy their work on division and fractions

Enjoy working with a partner

Even Better If

KS1

There was an opportunity to move around to complete a range of activities within a lesson

There was more opportunity for maths to be outdoors

KS2

There were more online competitions

More group projects (year 6)

Some children felt that maths lessons can feel a bit rushed

There were lots of requests for longer maths lessons!

We spoke about the importance of having a wide ranging curriculum in school and all children agreed they would not want to lose any other part of their timetable. I suggested a Saturday school for additional maths but children were less keen on this.
