The history Curriculum Champions shared that they enjoy history lessons at school. The children shared what they have been learning and how they have been using the different historical skills in their lessons. Across school, children feel that history is good because:
- it's interesting and exciting learning about the past
- we can look at old pictures or things from the past that help us to imagine what life was like
- we use Horrible Histories to help us to understand our learning. It's funny but it also helps us to remember
- our teachers are excited about history lessons and they tell us interesting facts
- we go on trips or have visitors in school to help us to learn
The history Curriculum Champions shared that they think history lessons would be Even Better If:
- we could have more artefacts in school to look at
- we could do more group work in our lessons
- we could use technology more in our lessons to explore the past
