Let your light shine!

Ethos, Vision and Values

Our school ethos, Christian values, Christian vision and mission statement are at the heart of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and allow us to provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, independent, happy individuals. Our ethos, school vision, values and mission statement have been produced taking on board ideas from all stakeholders within the school community and so truly reflect what we are all working towards as a team.

We want every child to be successful, to achieve the very best that they are able to achieve, to strive for success from the very first day that they join our school family and continue to do so throughout their time with us. We want our children to leave our school with a love of learning that will be with them for the rest of their lives.

All Saints' CE Primary School has a clear vision:

Our Foundation Scripture and Values at All Saints'

Our foundation scripture has been rewritten to reflect what is important to us as a community, 'Let your light shine' (Matthew 5:16). As a church school, it is important to us that others see Jesus in us, in all that we do. Our aim is for everyone at All Saints' to flourish, in all respects, letting their light shine through all that they do. For many of our families, challenges are being faced and seeing light in the darkness is important. Seeing light in others, and respecting that whilst we are all made in God's image, we are all unique, with unique skills and talents, is also important. We celebrate where we see 'shining lights' through the use of our shine cards, shine stickers, sharing shine moments in worship and on the newsletter, capturing the many ways in which our lights can shine as we grow and flourish.

As a school community, we chose 5 Christian values to specifically focus upon; love, persevere, respect, faith and joy. We can let our light shine when we show these values in action.

On our website, within our RE area, within curriculum, and also within children, Bible stories, values and psalms, you will find a wealth of information about our school values, along with wider Christian values, which are integral to all that we do at All Saints'. Below is a document explains our values, why we have them, when we focus on them and why they matter to us.
