Computing at All Saints' is good because...
We have learnt the meaning of new vocabulary such as website, command, coding, input, output, device and editing.
We find retrieval at the start of lesson helpful because it means we can recap on our previous learning, it refreshes my mind of the knowledge I have previously learnt, it helps us to refer back to what we did last lesson so it refreshes our brain and helps us to remember things.
Computing will help me in the future because I can send other people around the world emails, it helps me to keep safe online and it will help me to do most jobs in the future.
We have learnt new skills such as how to copy and paste, coding, commanding, photo editing and 3D modelling.
We have used computing in other subjects to research about different people, topics and questions, to collaborate on work and use a wide range of websites.
We use our computing knowledge and skills outside of school to use an online dictionary, type things up because I have got quicker at typing and use coding in different games I play.
Computing would be even better at All Saints' if...
We could continue to practice the skills we learn in other subjects as well as computing.
We could use our typing skills to type up pieces of writing and short stories to present it in different ways.
If we could use our computing skills to carry out more research, do more digital art and use our research to answer specific questions.
