Department for Vision, Values and Ethos

Our Ministers for the Department of Vision, Values and Ethos

The link teacher for the Department of Vision, Values and Ethos is Miss McLaughlin.

On 19th September 2024, the Department for Vision, Values and Ethos had their first meeting with other members of the Forward as One Pupil Advisory Board.  This meeting took place via zoom and was led by Mr Costas-Walker.  In the meeting, the children discussed the meaning of the words Vision (our ideas), Values (what we believe is important) and Ethos (the feeling of a time, place or situation and how we feel in those moments).

Mr Costas-Walker discussed that members of the board would be learning more about Article 14 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) which states that children have the right to freedom of thought, conscience, belief and religion.

The children were tasked with discussing what that means to our school and finding out what the rest of the school think about how All Saints' meets this right.  The children led an assembly and then completed questionnaires in their classes.  Please click the links below to find out more information about this right.
