Wellbeing week in Early Years

Mindfulness to begin each day in Wellbeing week

Whole school mindfulness session - we took part in a session about mindfulness with lots of other classes in our school and from other schools in our local area.

Activities during wellbeing week

We read books about how our voice matters and that we are able to make some choices for ourselves but that we must also respect the choices that our friends make.  It was fun finding out what each of us preferred from a set of two pictures.  We remembered that we are all equal and important even if we like different things.  Some of the choices were very difficult to choose between! 

In Acorn Class, we enjoy Yoga as a way to relax and calm ourselves after a busy day.
