It was clear to see that the children enjoy computing sessions and were able to talk about what they particularly enjoy and why. Children in all classes were able to recall some learning from previous units and could name their current unit, explaining what it is they are currently learning about. They understand why computing lessons are important and could articulate how their learning will help them in the future and in their careers. Children could recall key vocabulary from units already taught/being taught at the moment with some children remembering what the vocabulary means.
All curriculum champions could discuss online safety, showing a clear understanding of the topic and the reasons why this is taught in schools.

Children suggested that they would like to be able to use the computers more frequently and not just in computing sessions (KS1).
Children shared an interest in being able to access the internet more and be able to play more educational games on the computers, as well as being able to use them as a reward or being given some 'free time' to use the learning apps such as TTRS - look at adding computing to the next rewards event as an optional activity.
Children in KS2 said they would like to be able to use the computers as a way of presenting their work/learning. For example, completing a PowerPoint presentation at the end of a topic.
