What Went Well (WWW):
Pupils across all year groups have expressed that they thoroughly enjoy their French lessons.
- Year 6 particularly enjoyed playing bingo and tasting French food, which added a cultural dimension to their learning.
- Year 5 responded enthusiastically to interactive games, including Kahoot! and Around the World, which boosted engagement and participation.
- Year 3 loved taking part in Jacques a dit (Simon Says) and Kahoot!, making learning fun and active.
Even Better If (EBI):
- A fairer system, such as using lollipop sticks, was introduced to ensure all pupils have equal opportunities to participate in using Rigolo, as some children felt the same individuals were consistently chosen.
- All pupils had the chance to listen to the current French Number 1 hit. This could be further embedded into lessons, as they thoroughly enjoyed comparing it to their own musical preferences, enriching their cultural understanding.
