Hazel 2023 - 2024

Welcome to Hazel Class!

 

    

Welcome to our Hazel class page. Here you will find lots of information about all that is happening in our classroom!

Hazel class is predominantly taught by Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Holt.

 

During our Autumn term we will be studying a range of different subjects as well as enjoying a weekly outdoor learning lesson with Mr. Preston. In English, we will be reading and exploring a range of texts to develop our comprehension, fluency and vocabulary. We will also be working on our own amazing writing using these new skills.

 

                               

 

In science, we will be exploring the uses and properties  of everyday materials. We will also continue to learn about plants - how they grow and their features. Our RE unit focuses on why our Bible is a special book for Christians and we will spend time exploring other faiths - hopefully enjoying a visit to the Mosque to support our understanding.

 

It's shaping up to be a wonderful start to year 2 and I'm so looking forward to this year!
