Oak 2022 - 2023
Welcome to Year 6 Oak Class!
What an exciting year this year will be as you begin the journey into your final year at primary school. Year 6 will be such a fantastic year full of adventures, creating memories and achieving lots of special things together.
During the exciting Spring term, we will be learning about some really interesting things. In English, we will be reading a mixture of fiction and non-fiction texts around the topics of fantasy and refugees. For guided reading, we will be exploring poetry.
In Science, we will be investigating 'Living Things and their Habitats'. Geography and History will be focused on
'Local Fieldwork' and the 'Industrial Revolution'.
For our Art lessons, we will explore 'Drawing and painting developing into collage'.
In RE, we will be exploring the 'Lord's Prayer'. In addition, we will discover 'Easter: Who is Jesus?'.
