Elder 2022 - 2023
Welcome to Elder Class!
In Elder, we are a year 5 taught by Miss Harrison.
During this exciting Spring term we will be exploring lots of new and interesting topics! In English, we will be reading various stories by Oscar Wilde and having a go at writing our own narratives.
In science, we will be learning all about 'Earth and Space'. Geography will be focused on 'Biomes' and in History we will be exploring the 'Medieval Monarchs'
In Art, we will be looking at artist Georgia O'Keeffe and her colour blending artworks which will inspire our own creations and DT will explore architects and architecture leading into our frame structure unit. Our RE unit this term will be focused on Women of the Old Testament and why they are still important now.
All in all . . . a very busy term in the new year!
