Exploring Spirituality at All Saints’
At All Saints’, we believe spirituality is about making meaningful connections that help children grow in heart and mind. Our focus is on three key areas:
- Connection with God – Helping children explore faith, prayer, and a sense of something greater than themselves.
- Connection with our world – Encouraging awe and wonder in nature, and understanding our place in the wider world.
- Caring for creation – Inspiring responsibility and kindness towards the environment and all living things.
Spirituality isn’t just about religion—it’s about nurturing curiosity, compassion and a sense of belonging. Whether through quiet reflection, creative expression, or caring for others, we aim to help every child discover what makes them feel connected and inspired.
Spirituality is at the heart of our Christian vision to “Let your light shine” (Matthew 5:16). We believe every child is on a spiritual journey where they are encouraged to explore, question and reflect on the world around them.
Spiritual development is nurtured through our use of ‘Wow, Ow, and Now’ moments.

These moments are woven through our worship, RE and wider curriculum, helping pupils to develop empathy, moral understanding and a deeper awareness of God’s presence in their lives. In this way, spirituality at All Saints’ enables every child to grow in faith, wisdom and compassion, letting their light shine brightly in the world.
