Chidlren like the jigsaw concept of PSHE lessons

Children said they enjoy PSHE lessons when

• They use their journals
  Lessons start with a calming activity
  There are fun activities, which allow them to get involved, within the lesson - which all agreed happens in their lessons
  There are drawing opportunities, as well as some writing.

  Children weren't familiar with knowledge organisers. 
  
  When asked about their recent learning, 
• Year 2 said the classroom is a safe place becasue they can answer questions in lessons without worrying about making mistakes
  Year 5 said that a community is a place where people can gather and are safe together. They said it is important to have people to spend time with.
  Year 6 said they have developed an appreciation for the things they have. They were able to discuss the difference between things they need and things they might want.
